One of our favorite events in Napa is the Insignia Days up at the Joseph Phelps winery. As a treat for their wine club members, Phelps hosts a great event with open tastings of their current releases, barrel tastings (not so tasty) of the new release, lots of food, and gorgeous views/weather.
This was also our first day trip with Jake. After some careful planning for timing of our feedings, we ventured the 1.5hrs north and enjoyed the day in the sun. I am happy to say that he came through with flying colors - no meltdowns or even any real fussing. Might have been due to the new formula we were trying… one part Phelps Insignia (we prefer the ‘04) and 3 parts breast milk :)
