Thanks to my friend JR, I was able to play the Olympic Club’s Lake Course today. This is the 2012 US Open course and it was a humbling experience. Not only did it work me but the choice to walk the hilly track made me feel every day of my 36 yrs. Still a great bday treat - now it’s time for a beer and many Advil.
